  The Cub Cadet 1X-Series snow throwers are compact, but good at blowing snow. They work best on smooth surfaces in snow accumulations of up to 6". Because of their compact dimensions, they are ideal for clearing the snow from narrow walks.

  These snow blowers are 21 inches wide and have a snow intake height of 13". The snow discharge chute can be rotated 190 degrees and the pitch control is also adjustable. On the 1X 221LHP the chute and pitch can be adjusted remotely from the operator's position. These single-stage 1X snow throwers are self-propelled by the blower auger; the auger pulls the machine through the snow as it makes contact with the surface of your driveway. The 1X 221LHP features a built-in headlight for early morning or late night snow clearing.

  The auger diameter is 9". The rear tires are 8" x 2" with Cub Cadet tread. The reversible scraper bar is made of high density polymer. Fuel capacity for the gasoline engine is 2 quarts. The 1X 221HP is powered by a 179cc Cub Cadet 4-cycle engine; the 1X 221LHP has a Cub Cadet 208cc 4-cycle engine.

  The 1X is easy to start in cold weather. You simply plug into an ordinary 110V wall outlet, then push the start button and the engine starts. You can also use the recoil pull starter if you need to start the snow blower at the end of the driveway.
